My new Blog

Good day all of my fellow bloggers out there! I started out with a general blog, just for me, hence my title. I was chatting with some friends earlier today & got the idea to start a new blog! I decided to put my training as a certified pet dog trainer to some use.

I live in a very small, rural farming community in upstate New York. I have always loved animals. My dream job was any job that landed me working with animals, from vet to dog walker to show dog handler! I wasn't fussy.

I didn't end up with that however, after a short stent working as a groomer, I eventually found my way into the health care field.

I had a natural caregiving side in me that I discovered years later was handed down from generations. My grandmother had always wanted to be a nurse! I also discovered my biological great grandfather was a nature & animal lover, I inherited that trait from him & others in my family.

I retired from my LPN job in a nursing home,I was becoming too stressed with all the changes taking place & longed for a more serene life! I now have a little more free time to devote to the animals in my life. I am currently caring for a man with Alzheimer's disease, the one to one care is so much more relaxing & I find being able to give all my time to one person extremely rewarding!

Now blogging is my newest adventure & I'm looking forward to hearing from other blogging & pet aficionados, please feel free to ask questions, help me with training tips, or just chat!
